Just realized my best fort was made from a washer dryer box, not the big TV one
Everyone talks about hunting down the 65 inch TV boxes at Best Buy on Tuesdays. But last month my neighbor put out a pair of washer and dryer boxes from Lowes and honestly those things are the real deal. The double wide opening gave me a 4 foot hallway without cutting anything. I built a two room setup with a reading nook and a secret tunnel in like 45 minutes. The TV boxes are tall but flimsy. These things are thick and the flaps actually overlap so you can lock corners without tape. Am I the only one who skips appliance store dumpsters and goes straight to the laundry section? Where do you all find your sturdiest panels? I'm in Columbus if that matters.
