Heard a kid say cardboard forts are 'trash art'

My neighbor’s kid walked by my garage while I was taping up a box tower. Said it's just trash art, not a real fort. Like, come on. Doesn’t he remember the 3-story castle I built last summer that lasted 2 weeks in the rain? That took 12 boxes and a roll of duct tape. Has anyone else had to defend their fort building from random disrespect?

Wait, didn't I read somewhere that really successful architects used to build forts as kids? Like it's some kind of early training for spatial awareness or something.
