Duct tape vs packing tape for fort roofs which one actually holds up longer?

Packing tape will fail way faster than duct tape when it gets wet or hot. I'd go with duct tape every time if you want it to last more than a few weeks.

Isn't it just as important to consider what you're taping, @jade_hunt48, since duct tape can leave that sticky residue mess behind?
