DAE remember the kid at the Portland library who showed me how to use tape rolls as fort hinges?
I was building a reading nook fort out of about 20 boxes at the Multnomah County library branch and this 9 year old kid named Devon watched me struggle with floppy walls for 10 minutes. He grabbed a roll of packing tape, showed me how to loop it sticky side out to make a hinge between two box flaps, and man that trick made the whole thing solid. That was 3 weeks ago and I still use that hinge method on every fort now.
