Box fans plus duct tape changed my castle game last night

Last month I built a two story fort in my garage with packing boxes from a move, but the top level got stuffy fast. Then I grabbed an old 20 inch box fan from my dad's place, taped a cardboard chimney over it, and ran it out a window vent. Air moved way better, almost like real airflow in my little Brooklyn setup. Anyone else rig up ventilation for their bigger builds?

and honestly that chimney trick sounds way better than what I did. I rigged a box fan to sit on a milk crate and pointed it straight up the stairwell of my three level cardboard castle. Worked okay but the top room still got muggy. The tape and cardboard duct idea is genius though. I was using a bedsheet to funnel air and it just collapsed every twenty minutes. Gonna steal your window vent setup for my next build for sure.
