Why does nobody warn you that the free hotel breakfast ends at 9:30 on the dot
My flight out of Denver got canned last Tuesday so I grabbed a cheap airport hotel and figured I'd sleep in and catch the free breakfast before my rebooked flight. Walked down at 9:45 and the whole spread was already gone, chairs up, just a guy wiping tables and a sad tray of butter packets left. Does anyone know if that cutoff is a chain-wide thing or just that one spot, because now I'm scared to trust the little card in the room ever again?
Wait, chairs already up at 9:45? That part is wild to me. Like they didn't just run out of eggs, they fully packed up the whole room in 15 minutes. I've stayed at places where the waffle maker gets unplugged right at the cutoff but the staff at least let you grab a banana. The sad tray of butter packets is sending me though, that's such a specific kind of defeat. Honestly the little card in the room is a trap half the time, I always just ask the front desk now.
