Cancelled hiking trip turned into my best creek discovery
My buddy bailed on our 20 mile Appalachian trail loop last Sunday, so I drove out to Rock Creek with zero expectations and stumbled across this tiny swimming hole with a rope swing. I was super skeptical about turning a lost day into a random outing, but honestly the quiet water and spotting two herons made it better than the crowded trail wouldve been. Anyone else find a hidden gem after a plan fell through and wanna swap spots near the Shenandoah area?
