My cheap tarp leaked for 2 seasons, then I changed ONE thing and it quit
I used a $15 blue tarp from Harbor Freight under my tent at Roan Mountain last spring and woke up in a puddle 2 nights out of 3. Then a guy at the outfitter in Boone told me to stop draping it flat and tuck the edges UNDER the tent floor instead. Did that on 4 trips since August and stayed dry every time. Is this real or am I just getting lucky, and does anyone have a tarp setup that actually fails no matter what?
