Spent $60 on a lens cleaning kit that just scratched my glass

Bought one of those all-in-one cleaning kits from Amazon with the brush and liquid, and it left micro-scratches on my 50mm f1.4. Anyone else had better luck with just a microfiber cloth and lens cleaner?

Oh man, same here. I used to think people were overreacting about microfiber until I actually tried it myself. Now I refuse to use anything else. What brand do you swear by?
