Found out my old repair bench is older than I thought

I was looking up the serial number on my wooden repair bench I got from a shop closing down in Buffalo. Turns out it was built in 1929 by a guy named August. Has anyone else ever looked up the history on their tools by accident like this?

Huh, 1929 thats pretty cool but also not really that surprising. I mean, repair benches are built to last and wood doesnt just rot away in a dry shop. I bet half the stuff people find in old basements is from the 20s or 30s and they just never checked. Unless the guy August was some famous woodworker that's not really a big deal, right? It's just a bench, still gonna hold your tools either way.
