Discovered a tiny spring hidden inside my old Pentax shutter assembly today
Found this microscopic coil spring lodged behind the curtain drum that I must have launched across the bench 3 years ago - the shutter was dragging by half a stop this whole time. Has anyone else found random parts they lost ages ago still causing issues inside a body?

Hey, did your friend ever find a lost screw rattling around inside a camera body? My buddy Mike had a similar thing with an old Nikon, found a tiny spring wedged under the mirror box that had been making the mirror hang up for months. It was from a repair he did years ago and he forgot about it.
