Why does nobody warn you about fiberglass splinters in drop ceilings?

I was pulling some cat6 through an office in Denver yesterday and brushed my arm against one of those ceiling tiles. Now I've got these tiny invisible splinters that itch like crazy and I can't find them. Is there some trick I'm missing to avoid this or do you guys just deal with it?

Nah, I gotta push back a little. Working in these ceilings for years and the real trick is wearing a long sleeve shirt with a thin jacket over it, not just dealing with the itch. Most guys I know pay the price once and then never forget the duct tape trick for pulling out the splinters.

Guessing you haven't tried a good barrier cream yet before the shirt trick.
