Warning: The crawl space under Mrs. Henderson's house in Bakersfield looked like a jungle gym for rats before I got there.

I went back six months later to add a line and the difference was crazy. She had hired a pest guy who sealed every hole I drilled, so the whole area was clean and dry. Has anyone else had a customer's other home fix totally change your old work site?

See it the opposite way, honestly. That pest guy coming in and sealing everything up is the best case scenario for your old work. It means the whole system stays protected and dry, which is the whole point. You did your part to fix the problem, and then someone else came along and added another layer of defense. That's a win, not a change that messes things up. It just means the customer took it seriously enough to keep up the fight.
