Took a look at that new subdivision in Franklin yesterday, what a mess of cabling
Went out to check on a friend's install in that Franklin Meadows development off Highway 31. Every single house they framed had the low voltage lines run right next to the power lines through the same holes. It's gonna be interference city once people get their internet hooked up. Anyone else seeing builders cut corners like this or is it just my area?

Maybe it's not the end of the world like @davis.emma said, but I'd still worry about noise on TVs or a gaming PC down the road. Idk, seems like a dumb shortcut to take for no real reason.

I've been in the trades for 30 years and honestly I'm not sure it'll matter much in practice. The new code requirements on separation are mostly overblown for residential stuff, those low voltage lines are twisted pair and shielded pretty good these days. Seen plenty of installs with cables right next to each other that work just fine, the interference is more of a theoretical problem than a real one in most homes unless you're running some kind of medical equipment.
