That rainy beach job completely changed my mind about packing extras

I always packed light for overnight cable jobs, thinking extra gear was pointless. Last month, I drove out to install a system at a seaside rental. A freak storm rolled in while I was running lines on the roof. I got SOAKED and had no dry clothes in my truck. Shivering through the rest of the work was miserable and slowed me down a LOT. Now I always bring a spare set of clothes and a heavy-duty rain shell. Trust me, a little extra weight in your bag is WORTH it for comfort and getting the job done right.

You're right about the "little extra weight in your bag" being worth it. I'd add that showing up to finish a job soaking wet can look really unprofessional to the client, not just feel bad. It's about trust as much as comfort, lol.
