Did you snap any pictures of it? I swear, the stuff people try to pull at installs never stops surprising me. My best advice is to always bring a second set of eyes for delivery day, even if it's just your cousin for a few hours. I had a situation once where the customer tried to swap out a damaged unit from their own storage after we dropped it off, claiming it came that way. Cover your tail with photos from every angle before you leave the lot, and get a signature on the inspection form right then and there.

Oh man, I'm so bad at remembering to take pictures that half my camera roll is just blurry shots of my thumb. Probably explains why my install inspection forms look like they were filled out by a toddler having a seizure.
