Sat on a job for 40 minutes waiting on a bucket truck, should've just climbed the pole
Second job of the morning in Aurora and the dispatcher swore the bucket was 15 minutes out. I sat in the van with my coffee getting cold, watching the clock tick past 40. The homeowner kept peeking out the window, probably thinking I was slacking off. Finally I said screw it, grabbed my hooks and gaffed up the pole to run the drop. Done in 20 minutes, bucket never showed. Has anyone else just given up on waiting for the truck and gone manual, or am I the only one who's got a sore back to show for it?
