Found a trick to fish tape through insulated walls without snagging every time
I was working a job in Phoenix last month and kept getting my tape caught on that fluffy insulation in every bay (you know the stuff). After 3 tries on one run I tried wrapping the tip with a little electrical tape to smooth it out and it glided right through. Has anyone else tried something like this or got a better method for those tricky insulated walls?

That fluffy insulation in every bay" - man I know exactly what you're talking about. I read a tip from an old timer on another forum who said to use a little silicone spray on the tape before you push it in, just a quick shot on the first foot or so. He swore it cuts down on drag and keeps the tip from grabbing the fibers. I tried it on a rough attic job last week and it actually worked pretty well, though your electrical tape trick sounds simpler for smaller runs. Might have to test both on the next one to see which holds up better in that sticky fiberglass.
