Cable lube in July vs October, night and day difference on a 200 foot pull

I did a 200 foot run of RG6 through a conduit that was already half full, back in July, and it took me close to 2 hours of fighting and swearing. This past week I had to pull another line through the same path, same conduit, same cable, but the temperature dropped maybe 30 degrees. I used the same bottle of lube, but it was thicker and actually stayed on the cable instead of dripping off, and the pull took maybe 25 minutes total. Is there a sweet spot for cable lube viscosity, or am I just crazy and should I be warming it up in the winter months too?

Buddy learned that lesson the hard way on a rooftop in January.
