Buried a drop line under a driveway with a hose trick, no trenching

Customer in Phoenix had a 30 foot concrete drive and no way to run the line, so I shoved a garden hose through the dirt with water pressure, pulled the cable behind it, and the whole job took 45 minutes instead of 4 hours with a jackhammer.

Saw a guy on a contractor forum talk about doing the same thing for a fiber line under a sidewalk. He said it works slick in clay or sand but can hang up if you hit a rock or roots. Sounds like you got lucky with the soil in Phoenix, so that trick probably saves you a ton of time.
