DAE change their mind on pocket screws after seeing them at a trade show in Grand Rapids?
I always thought pocket screws were a shortcut for guys who couldn't cut a real joint, until I watched a guy at the Woodworking Machinery Show in Grand Rapids build a face frame with them in about 4 minutes and it was dead square. I still cut mortise and tenon on anything that shows, but for shop cabinets and paint grade stuff I've been reaching for the Kreg jig way more than I expected. Curious if anyone else made that switch or if I'm just getting lazy in my old age.
