Cabinet makers who ignore wire chases are setting up the whole job for failure
You can't just slap boxes together and expect us to magic wires through solid wood later.

Saw a comment from an old carpenter online... he said skipping wire chases is usually about saving time on the initial build. But then it just makes the electrician's job a nightmare later on. Read that it can add hours to the install because you have to drill everything after the fact. Honestly, it feels like a cheap shortcut that costs more in the long run. Seems like some folks just don't think ahead when they're building.
