Warning: don't bother with expensive bone saws for home use

I dropped $80 on a fancy bone saw from a specialty catalog thinking it'd make breaking down ribs a breeze. Ended up snapping the blade on a pork shoulder after 3 cuts and the replacement cost almost as much as the saw. Anyone else found a decent hand saw that doesn't break the bank?

Snapped the blade on a pork shoulder after 3 cuts"? Man, that's rough. $80 for something that couldn't even get through a single cookout sounds like a total rip-off. I'd be steaming if I dropped that kind of cash and got nothing but a broken blade and a headache.

Seems like everything's made to break these days just to get you to buy another one.
