Switched to a vacuum breaker for my vac pack machine after 15 years
I used to just throw the hose on and pray until last spring when a batch of pork bellies came out with that weird sour smell. Took me 3 days and a refund to realize the old check valve was letting moisture back into the line. Bought a proper breaker from a restaurant supply place in Omaha for like $80 and now every single seal has been clean since May. Anyone else deal with hidden failures in their packaging setup or am I just cursed?
