Serious question, did anyone else blow money on a fancy CRM before they were ready?
Honestly, I signed up for a $120 a month subscription back in 2021 thinking it would magically organize my whole landscaping business, but I barely used half the features and my two guys just kept texting me anyway. Ngl, that was over a grand down the drain before I finally cancelled and just went back to a simple spreadsheet. What's a better first step for a small crew, just getting a handle on basic scheduling?

How do you even know which free trial to pick when there are like ten options? I got burned last year signing up for one that auto-renewed into a crazy expensive plan. Read the fine print on the cancellation policy, that's the real test. A good service will let you leave easy when the month is up.
