Our team hit 98% on-time delivery for a quarter and I'm still shocked

We run a small fulfillment center in Phoenix and our historical average was around 92%. Last quarter, we focused on fixing a bottleneck in our packing station and cross-trained two more people on the shipping software. I just ran the numbers and we hit 98% for April through June. That's a huge jump for us and it came without adding overtime. I thought our old process was as good as it could get. Has anyone else seen a big jump from a single small change in their workflow?

The biggest surprise was the one in my own brain trying to follow this whole thing. It's like a traffic jam where every car is a different idea. I'm still stuck at the on-ramp, to be honest.
