Caught that billing error at the right time last month
I was going over our September invoices for the Denver office and spotted a double charge from the copier lease company that added up to $1,200 over 3 months. Called them up and they refunded it no questions asked. Anyone else finding sneaky mistakes in their vendor bills lately?

Check the fine print too some vendors hide auto-renewal clauses in there.

Got a call from my bank once about a "free trial" subscription that billed me $80 after 14 days. Had to spend an hour on hold sorting it out.

You're lucky they refunded it, most billing errors are actually the customer's fault for not reading the contract properly. Double charges happen but usually the fine print justifies them.
