Was skeptical of monthly spreads but now I swear by them

I used to think monthly spreads were a waste of space in my bullet journal, just extra pages I'd never use. After 6 weeks of using a simple monthly log to track deadlines and events, I realized it actually saves me time flipping back through dailies. Anyone else change their mind on a popular method after trying it?

Actually monthly spreads are called future logs in bullet journaling.

Yeah I gotta admit I was calling them monthly spreads forever. Always thought "future log" sounded like some sci-fi thing. But you're right, once I actually looked at how the bullet journal system works it makes way more sense. Future log is for stuff that's months away, not just a general calendar for the current month. I still slip up and say monthly spread when I'm talking to my buddy about his journal though.
