That comment about my messy weekly spread actually helped
Last month a friend looked at my bullet journal and said, 'You have too many colors, it's distracting.' At first I was annoyed because I thought all those highlighters made it fun. But I tried her idea and switched to just one pen color plus one accent color for the whole week. It felt plain for about three days, then I realized I could actually find my tasks faster without all the visual noise. My habit tracker got cleaner too because I stopped trying to color code every single box. Now I spend half the time setting up my weekly spread and I don't miss appointments anymore. Has anyone else had someone call out a design habit that you thought was working fine?

Wait, you went from "too many colors" to actually finding your tasks faster? That's wild, I would have bet money the rainbow system was helping more than hurting.
