Showerthought: I was at the art supply store in Portland and saw a whole aisle of washi tape.
Tbh it made me wonder if we're focusing more on the decorations than the actual journaling system. Has anyone else felt that pressure to make every spread look perfect?

Nah, the best ones are both pretty and functional, you don't have to pick just one.

Ever notice how the most helpful journals are the messy ones? I keep my old workout logs and they're full of scribbles and coffee stains... but I can find any workout from last year in ten seconds. The pretty stuff is fun, but it can make the real work feel like a chore.
