Rant: My bullet journal is a mess, and that's how I like it

I see so many people making these perfect, colorful spreads online. But I think bullet journaling should be about getting things done, not making art. Last week, I just wrote my tasks in a plain list and checked them off as I went. It was so much faster than drawing out a fancy layout. When I tried to make it pretty, I would stress over mistakes and waste time. Now, with my simple approach, I actually use my journal all the time. It might not look good, but it helps me stay on track!
