PSA: My weekly spread was a mess until I tried a rolling weekly

I kept cramming every task into Monday and Tuesday and then feeling lost by Thursday. After watching a few videos, I tried a rolling weekly where I only write down a few days at a time and leave the rest blank. It sounds simple but it stopped me from overplanning and feeling bad when I didn't finish everything. Has anyone else found that leaving space helps them stay more realistic about what they can actually do in a week?

That part about overplanning and feeling bad really hit home. A friend of mine tried the rolling weekly after she kept burning out by Wednesday and she told me it was like giving herself permission to be human again.

The 3-day spread trick works because it forces you to look at your week as a puzzle instead of a to-do list. I realized the real issue wasn't planning (it was my tendency to treat weekends like a second Monday). Leaving blank days saved me from that midweek crash where I'd just stare at the page feeling defeated.
