My weekly spreads looked like a toddler's scribbles for months

I switched to a single pen, a black Pilot G2, and a basic ruler. After three weeks, my pages are clean and I actually use my tasks. Anyone else ditch the fancy supplies to make their journal work?

Read a blog post a while back that called it "creative constraint." The idea is that having fewer choices forces you to actually do the work instead of just setting up. My whole drawer of washi tape and markers just made me anxious. Now I use a blue ballpoint and a notebook with pre-printed lines. The fuss is gone and I finally write things down.

Guess your washi tape drawer is now a museum for good intentions.
