My first journal from 2018 is embarrassing to flip through now

I found my old notebook from three years ago under a pile of stuff, and my spreads were so overdone. Back then I colored every header and drew little doodles for every habit, now I just use a plain ruler and one pen. Has anyone else simplified their setup as they got more comfortable with the system?
