Dropped $30 on a fine liner pen and it finally clicked for me
I've been bullet journaling for about 8 months now, mostly using whatever pen I found in my desk drawer. Last week I finally bought a $30 Sakura Pigma Micron set from a local art shop on 4th Avenue. The difference is night and day. No more smudging when I close the book or weird bleeding through the pages. My habit tracker actually looks clean for the first time ever. The fine tip lets me squeeze tiny checkboxes into my weekly spread without them turning into blobs. I'm kind of mad I waited this long over saving a few bucks. Has anyone else had a cheap supply that just wrecked their journal vibe before upgrading?

Oh man, I feel this so hard. I was using a freebie pen from a hotel for months and my whole bullet journal looked like a sad, smudgy disaster. Finally coughed up for a decent one and felt like such a fool for thinking cheap was fine.
