A friend told me my weekly spreads were too cluttered and it took me 3 months to realize she was right.

She pointed out I was cramming 7 days into two pages with 30 minute time slots that I never used and now I just do a simple task list per day with no time boxes and it actually feels helpful instead of stressful, has anyone else had to totally rework their layout after someone gave them honest feedback?

Oh man, my friend Sarah went through the exact same thing. She was using these elaborate color-coded weekly layouts with habit trackers and meal planning sections, and her sister just told her it looked like a spreadsheet exploded. She stripped it down to a single column for appointments and a small box for top priorities and says she actually likes looking at her planner now.

Did you see that study about planners causing more stress than they solve?
