The coffee shop near my hospital had a price board that changed everything for me

I was grabbing my usual $5 latte at Brew & Bite downtown during a night shift break and noticed they posted their ingredient costs right next to each drink. Seeing that a small coffee costs them like 30 cents to make while they charge $3.50 made me realize I could replicate it at home for pennies. Has anyone else had a random menu or sign completely reframe how you see your daily spending?

i saw that and had to double check i was reading it right. like, ten bucks for something that literally costs pennies to make?
