Spent $80 on a meal prep service and it actually saved me money
I know everyone here pushes cooking everything from scratch. But I was throwing out $150 a month in spoiled produce and unused ingredients. Tried EveryPlate for 3 weeks. $60 a week for 5 meals. No waste. No extra trips to the store buying random stuff. My grocery bill dropped by about $200 a month. Has anyone else found a subscription that actually works for their budget?

Read something about how food delivery services actually lower food waste by like 40% for most people. Seems about right for what you're describing.

@jade_hunt48 I have to respectfully disagree on that one. From what I've seen, those delivery services create a ton of extra packaging waste - all those plastic containers and bags add up fast. Plus people tend to order more than they'd cook at home, so leftovers don't happen as often. I'd love to see the study you read though, maybe I'm missing something.
