Somehow saved $12k in 18 months without really trying
I was just checking my savings account the other day and saw $12,400 sitting there. I had no idea I'd put that much away just by packing lunch and cutting out my daily coffee shop stop. How did you guys realize you were actually making progress on your savings?

That's a really nice feeling when you check and realize it just happened. I had something similar a few years back where I just stopped grabbing snacks at the gas station and suddenly had an extra couple thousand. It's funny how those small habits add up without you even noticing.
