Quit food delivery apps for 60 days, my grocery bill dropped $240
I was throwing $80 a month at DoorDash fees alone before I finally cut the cord in January. Now I meal plan around the weekly ads at Save A Lot and my fridge actually gets empty, anyone else see a bigger change from small habits than the big budget swings?

meal plan around the weekly ads" is the real move right there. Once I started doing that, I realized I wasn't actually saving money, I was just wasting less. The apps trick you into thinking convenience is worth it, but the real win is when you look at what you already have and build meals from that. Also, planning around ads means you eat stuff you actually like, not just whatever's on sale, so it's easier to stick with it. After a couple months, the $240 becomes $400 or more once you stop impulse buying snacks and random drinks too.
