Pro tip: checking credit card rewards on a random Wednesday saved me $67

I was just scrolling through my bank app last Tuesday and noticed a rewards tab I never click on. Turns out I had $67 worth of cash back sitting there from the last 6 months that I totally forgot about. I just redeemed it straight to my account without even changing my spending habits. Has anyone else found random money like this just sitting in their accounts?

Oh wow, $67 just sitting there? Must be nice when your bank actually hands you free money instead of hiding fees somewhere else. Guess I should actually look at my rewards tabs instead of pretending they're just decoration.

idk have you actually checked yours yet @barbara_butler? I found like $40 in airline miles I forgot about just sitting there collecting dust. Makes you wonder what else is hiding in those tabs lol.
