My wife said I was nickel and diming us to death with takeout coffee
She added up our coffee shop receipts from last month and it was $87. I bought a $20 french press and a bag of beans, now I make it in the truck while I wait at the loading dock. Has anyone else had a partner call them out on a small habit that was hiding in plain sight?

$87 is actually pretty reasonable for a whole month of coffee.

Wait, did anyone else catch that article about coffee prices going up because of droughts in Brazil? I swear I saw something about arabica beans getting hit hard. $87 sounds like a steal if you're brewing at home with maybe a bag of local roast stuff. But if you're hitting up Starbucks every day, that's like 12 drinks max, not really a whole month. Guess it depends on how fancy you get with your morning fix.
