My spreadsheet meltdown over a $12 coffee subscription

I tried to fix a small budget leak from a coffee service I forgot about... thought it would take ten minutes. Two hours later, I was still digging through old emails and bank statements from six months back trying to find the sign-up date. Has anyone else had a tiny charge turn into a whole afternoon project?

Honestly I spent three hours last month tracking down a $8.99 app charge from 2022. I feel you on the rabbit hole, and like aaron_gonzalez said, you always find more stuff to cancel once you start looking. Tbh my bank statement is just a graveyard of old free trials I forgot about.

Ever get so deep into fixing one thing you start checking charges you didn't even know you had? I ended up canceling two other subscriptions I found while looking for that coffee one.
