I see so many folks mess up their grocery budget by not checking unit prices.
I started tracking my receipts from Kroger and found I was paying $0.12 per ounce for one brand of beans but only $0.08 for the store brand right next to it. After three months of comparing those tiny labels, I saved over $40 just on pantry staples. How do you keep yourself from grabbing the first thing you see on the shelf?

Honestly feels like a lot of work for maybe a few bucks back. I mean I get the idea, but I just grab what I need and get out. Maybe it's just me but staring at those tiny labels makes my head hurt after a long day. Saving forty bucks over months is nice but idk if the mental effort is always worth it.
