Hit my 3 month emergency fund number today, 14 months early

I set a goal back in January to have 9k set aside by the end of next year. Started moving 200 bucks every payday into a separate account, no auto transfers, I did it manually each time. Today I checked and it crossed 9,100, which felt unreal since I had a car repair in March that set me back 400. I guess the key was doing it before I even looked at my checking balance. Anyone else find that manual transfers make the win feel more real than automatic ones?

Same here, that 200 bucks every Friday felt way more real when I watched it grow myself.
