Can we talk about the $46 grocery bill that finally broke my meal planning cycle?
Last Tuesday I hit up the Aldi on 8th Street with a hard $50 limit and came out with 14 meals worth of stuff, no fancy apps or spreadsheets. I used to wing it every trip and drop like $120, so has anyone else tried the cash-only trick to force yourself to actually stick to a list?

God, cash only sounds like a nightmare for me because I'd probably just forget the cash at home and then panic-buy a rotisserie chicken and call it a day. But honestly, my last trip cost me $94 and I still stared at my pantry wondering why I had no actual food, so maybe I need to try your weirdo trick. The self-checkout judge already knows me by name and probably thinks I'm a hoarder with how much random stuff I toss in. I wish I could say I'm good with lists, but my "plan" is basically me squinting at sale tags and vibing. Anyway, if paper bills are the only thing that can stop me from buying seven jars of pasta sauce, I'll take it.
