TIL a $3 blackout curtain behind my screen did more than the $120 I spent on better speakers
My basement setup looked washed out for months and I kept blaming my old projector, so I saved up for a speaker upgrade instead. My buddy Rick came over with a leftover blackout panel from his bedroom project and we tacked it up behind the screen just to see. Room went from gray haze to actual black bars in about 10 minutes, and now I feel silly for spending 120 bucks on sound gear first. Anyone else fix a picture problem with something cheap by accident?
