That guy at the thrift store saved my projector setup for $4
I was grabbing an old receiver last Tuesday and this older fella saw me staring at the mismatched speaker wire. He told me to grab a pack of those cheap banana plugs they had in the bin, said 'soldering is for rich folks, twist and clamp works just fine.' I took his word and it cleaned up my whole signal chain, no more crackling when the bass hits. Has anyone else found a hidden gem in the clearance section that solved a nagging issue?

Those plugs are garbage, soldering is the only real fix.
