Pro tip: skip the $300 DIY screen, buy a used one off FB for $60
Last month I had to pick between building a screen from a blackout cloth and PVC frame or grabbing a used Silver Ticket 100 inch off Marketplace. I went cheap DIY, spent 3 weekends fighting wrinkles and a saggy middle. Corners looked like a bedsheet in a hurricane. Finally bought the used one, took 20 minutes to hang. My advice: factor in your time and frustration. That $240 extra saved me about 10 hours and probably my sanity. Anyone else regret the DIY screen route?
