I mounted a DIY frame covered in blackout cloth from Walmart in my garage theater 3 weeks ago and the blacks went from washed-out gray to actually dark, no more light bleeding through the cheap pull-down. Anyone else ditch a store-bought screen for fabric and notice this much of a jump, or did I just get lucky with my wall color?
